This week, Russia beat Finland in Belarus’ 2014 hockey tournament. It was an anticipated win for Russia, putting them in first place.

 

Earlier, Finland had beat the Czech Republic 3 to 0. Russia had beaten Sweden 3 to 1. When the time came, the two teams collided head-to-head. Russia scored multiple goals, only to have Finland strike back with goals. The defense on both teams was tense this game, both wanting to take home the trophy. Finally, the buzzer rang and Russia was ahead 5 to 2. Everyone in the audience cheered for Russia. After many hard games, they had finally won!

 

The official top 5 teams were Russia, Finland, Sweden, Czech Reopublic, and Canada. USA was 6.
