Jake F.’s reading reflection

This trimester I have read 11 books. This trimester one book challenged me, Prisoner B-3087 by Alan Gratz. This book was 260 pages. This book was 260 pages. This challenged me because I didn’t read 30 minutes each night, so it took a long time to finish. The best book I have read this trimester was the fifth book in the vietnam series, The Walking Wounded. This was the best book because I like the way that Chris Lynch writes his books. So far this is my favorite book of his. My favorite author right now is Chris Lynch because he writes his books in the perspective of the characters in the book. He switches off between the characters and writes only about them in that chapter. I like to read realistic fiction because it is not completely fake, but it is still realistic.

I did not make it as far as I wanted to. I wanted to read longer books, but I stayed reading shorter, easier books. For the third trimester I want to read longer, harder books.

  1. I love the way you explained why he was your favorite autho by saying ” he writes in the character’s perspective.” Keep on reading no matter what. You can do it!

  2. Hi Jake, my name is Jillian. I live in California. It’s amazing how you read all those books in one trimester! I wouldn’t be able to read that many books in only one trimester. Keep up the good work!

  3. Hey my name is Sayra. I think you are doing a good job reading so many books. You should try reading the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series, those books are funny.

  4. Hi Jake, my name is Alyssa. I think you are doing a great job reading 11 books. Keep up the good work in reading books.
