Letter Essay #5: The 39 Clues: Beyond the Grave

Hello everyone, this is my review of the book, The 39 Clues: Beyond the Grave, which is the 4th novel in the series.  This novel in the series was written by Jude Watson.  It turns out the books stopped getting shorter because in Book 3, it was about 150 pages long, but in Book 4, it was about 180 pages long.  First off, this novel, just like has lots of action in store for all of us.  So let’s get to the review.

So now Amy and dan Cahill are now in Egypt looking for their next clue.  While searching this clue, they encounter many foes like Irina Spasky, Jonah Wizard, a group of hungry alligators, and even new antagonists like Hilary Vale and her grandson, Theo Cotter.  With so many villains working against them, can they even hope to obtain this next clue?

This book is amazing!  It has a great story, great antagonists, and a great amount of action!  Dan and Amy have faced so many challenges in the past and it’s amazing how they managed to overcome those challenges and there is no doubt that there are still more to come.  Overall, Beyond the Grave makes good use of all of it’s pages.  I give it 9 out of 10 stars.  Peace Out!

Sincerely,

  1. Dear Ray
I have never read any of the 39 clues but it sounds very good and the fact that you gave it a 9 out of 10 means it is a good book.

  4. Raymond,
I’m glad you liked this book, but this letter-essay is too brief and lacks important information, such as a comprehensive Reflection, which includes a quoted passage. Please refer to the checklist and teacher and student models if you have questions.

This was a great letter essay, and I can tell you are really into the series. You could have included a quoted passage, and a little more detail about the book , and its series. Over all it was pretty good.
