  17. Girls,
The film you produced is excellent; well over the 5-minute limit, but it’s excellent, so that’s okay. So many parts are great: the tracker-jacker “nest,” when Katniss is about to enter the games, the scene when Rue dies (Lauren and Maddy: you almost had me, and it’s hard to watch by myself [that scene still gets to me]), etc. But the part that makes me laugh out loud, and I didn’t catch it the first time, is when Kiki (Haymitch) falls off the stage and just before she’s dragged off camera, Hanna, as nonchalantly as Effie would have said it, goes: “Well, then . . . now on to the boys!” It’s so good you almost don’t notice Hanna’s mismatched socks. Well done, girls.
    Sincerely,
    Mr. Jockers

  18. I loved your short film! It was very entertaining and put together well. I liked the details you added to make it real, like the costumes and the blood in the scene when rue died. Does maddy have a pillow in her shirt ahaha? Also, kiki was a perfect haymitch. I replayed it more then 5 times. Great job to everyone!

  19. I really liked your short film. I liked the scenes that were chosen because they were some of the most important ones in the book. I think you did a really good job on being loud enough and making the scenes just right. One thing that could be changed is that it was 8 minutes long when the max it should be is 5 minutes. But well done good job.

  21. I loved your video so much! Kiki, you made a fantastic Hamitch with lots of spunk (hehehe see what I did there). You guys all had lots of very realistic remakes of the scenes. Lauren the part where you sang the Deep in the Meadow song was so pretty! You have such a nice voice! You guys all did great and I would watch this a million more times. I loved all of the subtle touches that just made it all the more enjoyable (like the pizza bagel feast!)
