Amelia’s Prepositional Phase Poem

Summer Days:

Aboard a small blue boat paddle in hand,

Among my two cousins closest to my age,

During a blazing hot and humid day in August,

On a lake called Sunapee bordering New Hampshire

Secluded from the outside world,

Beneath the cloudless sky,

Without any houses in sight,

From one side of the lake to the other,

Through plants and water weeds

With nothing but fun in mind,

We kayaked.
