Olivia C.’s Prepositional Poem

First Day of the Beach Season

Aboard the baking black car

Among me sat food, drinks, and my excitement

To the beach

Above the sun shined

Below the road twisted and turned

Trudging through the smooth sand

Ahead of me the water moved to the rhythm of wind

Following my sisters foot prints

Excepting the pesky seagulls

Among the towels and chairs

Without a worry

We sat
