Italy Trip
Past the pilot we board the plane
Over the ocean we flew
Against the airplane seat I lay
Onto the runway we land
Down the roads we go almost at the hotel
Up the elevator, I wait
Following my family to our room
Out side the window I see sun and water
We are in Italy.
Nicely done, Troy. While some of your lines are prepositional phrases, a majority of them are in fact sentences, meaning they have a subject and a verb. For example: “Over the ocean we flew.” In that sentence, “we” is the subject and “flew” is the verb. For this assignment, just the prepositional phrase “over the ocean” was needed.
