The Falls
In a Honda driving towards Montmorency
Outside on a rugged, treelined, dirt path
Toward a massive, glittering waterfall larger than Niagara Falls
With small rainbows shinning brightly below
Underneath the blazing sun
Across a large bridge that stretched across the whole waterfall
Through more rugged, uneven, rocky dirt paths
Down the large mountain overlooking the beautiful, wide, vast river
On a man-made wooden structure that lead to the bottom of the falls
Into the cool mist of the water fall surrounded by rainbows
We gazed.
Great poem, Emily. Sounds like an awesome spectacle.
