Jeremy’s Letter Essay #4

                                                 Letter Essay #4

Recently, I finished reading the book The Compound by S.A Bodeen. The first book in a short series. The Compound is about Eli, a fifteen-year-old boy that lives in a bomb shelter with his family after a nuclear attack on his country destroys everything he loves and it follows him as he finds out things about his father and what truly happened that fateful night. The book talks a lot about how important it is to be together as a family and how you always have to “face the music” at some point in life. It shows how you must be forgiving and you have to move on from things that happen in life to get on with the future. I loved this book and I really hope to read the second installment in this great series. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good young adult novel and loves realistic fiction. I rate this book a 10/10 for its amazing literature and awesome descriptions. S.A Bodeen did a fantastic job with this piece of art and I wish this is not the last book she writes.

  1. Jeremy,
I’m glad you liked the book so much; it’s certainly been a favorite among your peers this year. However, this piece of writing falls short of the expectations for a letter-essay. Please review the checklist and model. I am positive that you can produce a complete letter-essay of the highest quality.
    Sincerely,
    Mr. Jockers

  2. So far i really like the plot its so mystrious and kinda gives some goose bumps. I would really like to know more about what would happen if this didnt take place during the nuclear attack.
