I woke up knowing I had school, but something seemed weird. I had woken up really early at 6:15 and that was a big red flag for me, because it usually means that there is no school. However, I ignored it, I saw that I had some time to burn so I went down stairs and tried to play some video games. I lost track of time and before I knew it, the time was 8:15. I went upstairs to question my mother’s leadership, I walked in her room and she was laying there on her bed reading some mumbo jumbo about Neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. I ask her “Mom, it’s 8:15 why haven’t we left for school yet?” She responded “Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, school is cancelled”. I screamed “NoOoOoO” waking my dad. I went downstairs to contemplate the new revelations, I sat down in the chair at my desk, I never thought they would actually cancel school.  An hour later my mother came down and set up some “rules” going forward, she said that I would have to eat breakfast, make my bed and brush my teeth before I was allowed to play any video games, and said after lunch I had to spend a minimum of 1 hour outside and 1 hour reading everyday. She said more rules were to come! I was fuming from the ears!
