How we question?

Well its day 9

It is also April 2nd

The Aztecs predicted the end of times for 2012. Nothing happened then. Now another calendar calls this year 2012. We will never know what they were talking about or why they came up to 2012 as the last year. This is just interesting.
Today I looked at Nat Geo’s website. The 2021 almanac has been released. I say it is a bit early. The almanacs always seem to have information from the current year and not the year it says they are from. I remember the 2020 almanac. There was 1 section talking about how scientists have reclassified any humans born after 2007 as homo Urbanus.The classification included a body built more for a lazy lifestyle and more for city life. I am not sure what classifies a different subspecies but there aren’t that many defining characteristics so why should this count.
Our brains question everything that we would not know is a fact. When we believe something we believe it. If someone offers a contradictory opinion that is correct you are more likely to stay with what you believe because it’s your info or you found evidence of your answer.
I designed a hollow rocket. It would allow having directional rockets operate revolutions running from the inside. It would allow for more layers of cargo. It was almost like a doughnut.It allowed the engines to be directly oxidized by the air until they reach a vacuum.By then the rocket would have had enough stored oxygen to get it anywhere we could ever want.
That brings us to the question of what is the vacuum of space. Is it not empty? It s full of everything. From photos to dark matter to meteors and comets. But that’s not all, there are also quarks and fields. Such as gravitational fields, time fields and everything in between. These fields control in this case where the rocket is what happens to it. If an asteroid is coming towards us we could potentially deflect it if we have enough time.
Today this quarantine is just annoying. I haven’t seen any of my friends face to face for weeks and I am getting a bit tired of doing all of the work here.
E=MC^2
That equation can explain all of the energy in the universe the earth and beyond. But we have to consider if we went to another universe. What would it look like? Would it obey the same laws it does on earth? Maybe everything is the same. Maybe everything is different. Our speculation is exactly that speculation. In our lifetimes it is very unlikely that another universe or even more another earth is discovered. The world has life.Now we have to talk about the Fermi paradox. Is there A great filter we have to pass or are we just special;l. Maybe life is just a rare occurrence and we may be one of the first intelligent beings that can transform earth for the better and worse. With that, I have more work to do so I sign off for the day. happy April 2nd.

  1. We have been given the chance to explore our world, and discover new things inside of this large limited timeline we call life. So why have we, as species, taken this chance, and used it for the nonsensical things we do, some could argue that we have done more harm the earth than good. Maybe there is some greater power watching us from beyond, questioning our silly antics, maybe not. Maybe we are, the only life giving planet, making it much worse, what we have done to it.

  2. This was really fun to read about. I saw something about this the other day and I wanted to know more and that was very interesting to read.

  3. This was interesting to read, although I must point out that your claim that the Aztecs would predict the end of the world in 2012 is false. Firstly, the calendar the Aztecs used was adopted from the Mayans, so if anything, the Mayans would have predicted the end of the world in 2012. Secondly, the calendar, called the Maya Long Count calendar, does not predict the end of the world, but rather, the end of a cycle. The entire process in hard to explain, due to the unique units of time that they used, but, in short, the Mayans did not predict the end of the world. The calendar states that the end of the third world, and the beginning of the fourth one, will begin in 2012, that is, the year of 2012 will be the transitional period between these 2 cycles. However, this has been misinterpreted as an apocalypse, the death of all life, and a new beginning. But no. The cycle would simply end, and another one would begin. What a ‘new world’ means is the completion of their calendar; the resetting of the calendar. Now, since their calendar has been completed 3 times now, and we are in the beginning of the fourth, then, using your logic, the Maya have predicted the end of the world 2 other times. The marking of the end of this thousands of years long cycle would not be lived in fear, but in happiness, that the Mayan civilization would have been able to live for this long. Indeed, they had survived through the first 2 cycles, but the Conquistadors ended their civilization, and cut their life short. As such, they calculated the cycle to end on December 21st, 2012, as per their calendar, but never lived to see the end of the 3rd cycle. Of course, the Mayans never calculated the end of the 4th cycle, given that they never lived until the end of the 3rd, but we can calculate the end of the 4th, and the beginning of the 5th, since we know how they executed their math, but despite this, once a conspiracy theory gets stuck in a person’s mind, the theory stays there. Scholars then read the calendar as the end of the third world, and the beginning of the 4th one, and believed that the Mayans had predicted the end of the world in 2012. Of course, they didn’t bother to look at the other 2 ‘predictions’, did they? That, paired with false news spreading like a wildfire on the International Network, and people’s naïvety, is how that hoax came to be. So, in short, the Mayans did not predict the end of the world in 2012; that is all just fake news.

  4. When you said “If someone offers a contradictory opinion that is correct you are more likely to stay with what you believe because it’s your info or you found evidence of your answer.” It interested me because, in debates most people never change there original answers, even if the loose the debate. Now I know why.

  5. This piece of writing really intrigued me, and I learned about something that I didn’t have a lot of knowledge on, and totally wasn’t expecting to read about today. Truly a great job, Alex. Keep up the hard work.

  6. Your idea of E=MC^2 being wrong in another universe is interesting. Another idea is, who said that living entities must have water, oxygen, etc.? On earth, that seems to be true, but what if there is another form of life that doesn’t need those things. All known living things are carbon-based. Does that have to do with what we need to live? What if there is a silicon-based lifeform? Do they need what we do? This would mean that the scientists who are looking for other forms of life on other planets might be skipping over planets that could be deemed perfect for non-carbon-based life. This is just an example, but it’s still interesting to think about.
