Just a Long, Rambling Entry

I figured that you were going to give us something to write about today. I guess not. As per usual, I don’t know what to write about. I never do. I was hoping you’d give us something to write about. Whatever, it doesn’t matter anyways.

I’m not sure if I’m going to unshare this document with you. Maybe later I will, but I guess I’m not really writing anything too personal here.

Maybe I’ll just spend the rest of my fifteen minutes writing about how I don’t know what to write about. Sure, why not.

I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about.  I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about. I don’t know what to write about.

Ooo! Those sentences (^^) made a cool little pattern with the words!

I have part of a history quiz tomorrow. It’s multiple choice. I don’t see what the point is of having quizzes anymore. All of them are going to be open-book quizzes. We have all the information in the world at our fingertips. Teachers are just giving us free points.

Ugh, I still don’t know what else to write about.

Is “ugh” an interjection?

Sorry, a thought of the school play just popped into my head. Interjections is one of the songs in it. Heh. Fun times.

How much time do I have left? Just over three minutes. Darn.

Day (uh) 30th-of-March

We’ve run out of dog food. Hopefully Amazon will arrive with a new bag of dog food tomorrow. I don’t want Reese, my dog, to starve. She might not even have breakfast tomorrow. That’s a scary thought.

My cat is as cute as ever, like the guinea pigs. Kitten still doesn’t like me.

I’d go on, but I don’t have enough to write about.

Oh, there goes my alarm. I’m not rambling on today for longer than I have to.

  1. Hi Emily,
If you really do want me to give you something to write about, then, here: go read a news story about the pandemic that has upended life as we know it, and then write a response to that; there are stories about conflicting messages from the government, stories about doctors and nurses trying to help people but do not have the proper equipment, stories about cities that have become ghost towns, stories about tigers in zoos becoming infected. If you don’t want to write about that, search out a list of writing prompts, such as this one: https://thinkwritten.com/writing-prompts-for-kids/. Hope that helps, and that you are doing well.
    Sincerely,
    Mr. Jockers
