Capt. Charlie ducked in the high grass, it grew closer, its smell piercing even the strongest of noses. Charlie struggled to crawl away from the ocean and with a quick glance behind him, noticed that the creature began to limp away. Charlie got up and ran with what little strength he had left, but the rustling of the long wet grass alerted the monster. Faster then a snap of a finger the monster took a swipe at the Captain.
“How many survivors sir?”
“None i’m afraid,” replied Baylin, while many men had died attempting to defeat the monster, Baylin would not allow his reputation to be taken by the creature. Based on descriptions from survivors, the monster lived on the coast; it had glazed over eyes with large ears, it was about 7ft tall with two massive arms that were dotted with tiny spikes that could drop a normal man in seconds. They called it Greenlig, the terror of the water.
I found this very interesting. I was wondering how Baylin got such a prominent reputation and I found myself wondering where the monster came from. I would love to see more of this.
I find this story very intersting, this story makes me want to read more, great use of dialoge.
I thought this was a very interesting story. I would like to hear more about the origins of Baylin and why they are hunting this creature.
Cool story really wondering what led up to this situation.
Very interesting story. Can we maybe get a second part? I would definitely read more. Maybe I can even help.
