Recently, I completed reading the book The Copper Gauntlet a 264 page by Holly Black. The book is the second in the series The Magisterium. The plot is very simple, A student was murdered and a mage named Callum Hunt must find out who the killer is before he attacks again. This book centers a lot around being brave and having the courage to fight for your friends. It depicts very well the emotional struggle going on with Call. Holly Black describes feelings so well you almost feel like it’s you feeling the things that the character is feeling. This book goes above and beyond the other books in the series and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good fantasy book. I can not wait to read the next book in this enticing series and I hope that the next is better than the last. I rate this book a 9/10 for its creativity and the message it tries to send to the reader.
